Life Issues: Worth In Christ

Life Issues Counseling – Introduction

Life Issues Counseling at Unbroken Covenant Cathedral is dedicated to helping individuals discover healing, freedom, and purpose through the truth of God’s Word and the power of Jesus Christ. Many life challenges stem from misunderstanding our value, identity, and worth. God’s Word reminds us that circumstances, achievements, or opinions do not determine our worth—but by who we are in Christ.

Our counseling ministry is Christ-centered, Bible-based, and Spirit-led. Through prayer, Scripture, and compassionate guidance, we walk alongside individuals as they embrace God’s truth, experience restoration, and grow in spiritual confidence.

Life Issue: Worth in Christ

Discovering Your True Identity

Many people struggle with feelings of insecurity, rejection, inadequacy, or unworthiness. These struggles can be shaped by past failures, broken relationships, trauma, or cultural pressure. However, Scripture teaches that our true worth is not found in what we do, what we have, or what others say—it is found in Christ alone.

Jesus demonstrated our value by giving His life for us. In Him, we are loved, chosen, forgiven, and redeemed.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8

Biblical Understanding of Worth in Christ

  • Your worth is established by God, not people

  • You are created in the image of God

  • Christ paid the ultimate price for your redemption

  • Your past does not define your future

  • God’s love for you is unconditional and unchanging

A Word of Hope

Your worth is settled at the cross. Nothing you have done—or failed to do—can diminish the value God has placed on your life. In Christ, you are loved, redeemed, and chosen. Healing begins when you accept what God has already declared about you.
