Life Issues: Suffering

Life Issues Counseling – Introduction

Life Issues Counseling at Unbroken Covenant Cathedral exists to bring healing, strength, and hope through the power of Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word. We recognize that suffering is a part of life in a fallen world, and it can raise deep questions about purpose, faith, and endurance. Yet Scripture assures us that God is present even in our pain.

Our counseling ministry is Christ-centered, Bible-based, and Spirit-led. Through prayer, Scripture, and compassionate counsel, individuals are guided to encounter God’s comfort, discover renewed hope, and grow stronger through life’s challenges. No season of suffering is wasted when placed in God’s hands.

Life Issue: Suffering

Finding God’s Presence and Purpose in Pain

Suffering may come in many forms—physical illness, emotional pain, loss, persecution, disappointment, or prolonged hardship. While suffering is never easy, it is not meaningless. Jesus Himself suffered, demonstrating that pain does not mean God is absent. In Christ, suffering becomes a place where faith is refined and God’s power is revealed.

“Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.”
— Hebrews 5:8
